hes got some serious clamping skill.
fabulous work.
I only use glue and as mentioned some serious clamping...I think I literally have more money in clamps than my stereo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
My cuts are dead on and I take my time being very meticulous with the construction. Screws **** IMO...glue done correctly (which it usually isn't) is stronger and way cleaner looking. Also gives the flexibility to router the edges as much as you want.
Thanks for the compliments, always appreciated //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

you my friend are very good at what you do
I dont understand all this hype on your boxes. How can you possibly make me louder lol. OK in all reality I didnt think I could get louder but here are some specs for you guys thinking about having Dave build a box for you.
Prior to my OCTO box I had 2 dual 2 Mojos running at .5 ohm off a DD Z1a with 2 Batcap 3000s with OG 200amp alt in a 8 cube slot port box in a 2000 Jeep Limited. In USACI 601-1800 I was doing a 154.5 and in Street Beats could do mid 153's. In NESPL I was doing a Legal 150.1. I asked Dave to build me a box designed to compete on the glass but also stay legal in 2 diff organizations. Keep in mind Ive tried about 7 diff boxes in the last 3 years and my current setup was by far the best. It took a little over a week to build and I received build pics the entire time. The box was perfect to spec and cleaner then a Nun. When tested on the Termlab and certified at 2 comps I now hit a 155.5 in USACI 601-1800 ( Region 4 record holder ) and a legal 154 even in NESPL ( Tied for the loudest non-walled vehicle in NESPL and Stock 3 record holder ) all with blown window seals. Long story short anyone can build a pretty prefab box but if Dave can make record holding SPL competitors a lot louder imagine what he can do for you.

Top secret boxes always remain that way until after they have surprised the competition //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Been busy this week working on a cool project for a customer...six JL Audio W3v3's in a trunk! Going into an older caprice (box style), partly for SPL and mostly for show. I tried to blend some of both with this design, leaning a little more towards show. Subs will be flush mounted, as will terminals (2 sets), and there are unique ports out both sides at the back. Of coarse the both ends of the ports are well rounded also.
Some pics:
More pics to come later since this will be a finished product //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
