Custom Speaker Install---- questions

I have a 2004 Jeep liberty. THe front door speaker size is 6.5". I wanted to put 6x9 speakers in the two front doors... there is enough surface area for them to fit, but will the window go all the way down? I don't know about problems that could come up.

Also, where would I get a speaker grill (cover) to fit over the 6x9's?

FYI I am leaving the 6.5" alone in the back doors. I only want to change the front doors. -------Thanks.

There is a semi-sense of urgency on this question as well. Circuit City has a sale on the speakers I want this week (sale starts tomorrow and ends on December 10th) The exact speaker pair I want to buy is Infinity Reference 3-way 6x9" door speakers.

Why on earth would you want to put 6 x 9's in place of 6.5's, and in the FRONT at that?..... It will sound like garbage, get yourself a good pair of 6.5's.

Really? The 6x9's sounded better than the 6.5's in the showroom.

the 6.5 will deliver you with SQ while the 6x9 will give you crap SQ w/ bass not a good idea

Ok--- well let me ask a different question then.

I am looking at some other 3-way 6.5" speakers, but it looks like the majority of speakers for sale are 2-way. Which is better for my set-up?

2 way is the easiest to fit/install.
