Sold Custom RE Destroyer/ TC Sounds 15" sub

Payed 400 for the sub originally, had it reconed by TC for 200. Red powdercoated basket, rubber high roll surround, dual 10" spiders, double reinforced aluminum cone, 4 inch titanium flatwound VC. I don't remember what impedence it is, I'm headed to the shop right now and I'll post up, but I'm almost positive they're dual 1.7's. Everything on the sub is in great condition, no scratches or chips or holes or anything like that.

I only ran it for a couple days because I couldn't get it to work with my box/amp setup. There's a thread about it on here somewhere just search. Ran it in a sealed box once and it sounded amazing. It can take a ton of power, just make sure it's all set up correctly.

I'm in San Diego and would prefer local pickup. I can ship it, but it'll be a lot of money though, it weighs A TON

We gave one of my destroyers power from a 2000D and it never even broke a sweat, tuned at 35hz and it wanged. wtf did TC sounds do to your driver?

and didnt you never run more than 1000 watts from that JL 1000.1 to the "stock destroyer" and you blew it then had it reconed, so I think its kinda dumb that you say this TC recone made it louder because you put the 2500D on once you had the TC recone...

No it saw the 2500d in it's original form. I blew it with the 2500d. But it was allready weakened from before when I had a shitty electrical system.

I know this sub has some history on here, so I'm glad to answer all the questions, but lets keep the hypothetical hearsay kinda stuff to ourselves allright?

REally? I'm not lying, I don't htink. I have a terrible memory, but I'm pretty **** positive I blew it with the 2500d. See first I ****ed up the tinsels with low voltage drops with my 1000/1. Resolered em a couple times over an dover and over. Then I got the 2500d and it blew the tinsels again, but this time it like destroyed em. They were all frayed and charred to shit. Yeah for sure I blew it for good with the 2500d I fully remember that. Maybe I sent you a PM saying I blew it with the 1000/1 before Tuan told me it was completely fine to resolder the tinsels instead of just buying a recone kit.

Yea, well I am positive the destroyers can handle more than 2000 watts in they're stock forum, as I have seen 3000 given to them daily with no sweat. I was just almost positive you said you blew it with the JL then your 2500d came in and you were waiting to get the destroyer from TC and hook it up, oh well good luck with the sale
