Im in the process of making an enclosure that fits behind the panel in the back passanger side cargo area. I couldn't find one to fit it, because its a 2dr Explorer. Aka, Sport model. I have roughly 6 inches if mounting depth, and its sealed .75 cf. I can make it smaller if needed. I really could use help choosing the best 10" sub that will work for me, under 150ish. Also, the perfect amp for the sub, again, a budget amp. One more question, I was looking at alpine subs, and there were type r 2 and 4 ohm with same specs if I remember right. Which is better? Sorry for the long post, and all the questions. Thanks for any help, and feel free to give any tips I might need.

I'll post pics soon, and dimensions of all pieces to help anyone who has the truck as me. There are none made for it, but I mached everything up, so u can just use my foot work to your advantage. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

For the Type R 2 and 4 ohm the Ohm load just determines the wiring option you send to you amp.

For 2Ohms you can either go with a 4ohm or 1ohm load

For the 4ohm sub you can either wire it to a 2 ohm or 8ohm load

The ohm setup which you purchase should be based on the amplifier you have. You chose the best one to fit with in what the amp requires for optimum performance and then wire the sub to match the amp.
