Its not necessary, the wire is SAE certified and has a dual jacket, the inner layer is reinforced with ceramic. Its the safest audio cable out there. Just run the wires safely and you are golden

Any chance you could do one end of the power run in a 90 degree crimp? I have a 2006 jetta, and thats about the only option off the alt.

Correct, there isn't a lot of room in there off the alternator. Gonna take the front end off just to replace it. 60 for the kit? Orange and black 1/0?
