im sure you guys will recognize this beast from the pics. do some searching, you will find the thread about it. i got it in a trade, and it was said to be never used. and i believe it. i have dealt with the guy before, and would again. his packing was good, and the sub looks great. BUT! it has some kind of noise coming from the coil or suspension when playing. i hooked it up on the bench (only amp i own right now is an ADCOM 4402, so thats what i tested with) and right away i heard the noise. then a couple days later i dug out the only box i have laying around that i could quickly fit it in (3cubes at 30hz) box was for a 15, so i just screwed a new baffle on the box for the 12. was hoping the noise would disappear when the rear of the sub did, but it was still audible. the higher the volume goes the softer the noise is (obviously), but im not an SPL guy. i listen to music, and this sub just aint gonna work out. i do have to say that it did sound pretty good for just being dropped in a random box, and only fed about 300watts (it obviously laughed at my beloved little ADCOM). its just that stupid noise is gonna drive me nuts. so thats the deal, i have disclosed the only bad thing i can say about it. $175 shipped.
