My car has a VERY awkwardly shaped trunk. I wanted a 12, looked around online and found the sa12 had great reviews and looked it would suit what I wanted, but the square box design that sundown gives us would take up my whole trunk and be positioned badly. Then I started measuring to find how much room I had, jumped onto sketch up and made an inclosure with the specs from sundown and a calculator for port length and area. This is what I came up with. This is designed to go under the package tray, but still leaving room to mount some beefy 6x9s that would hang down into the trunk.

the box is 2 cubic feet after subtracting the subwoofer's volume. The box is tuned to 35hz as specified by sundown. I will be running 750 watts rms.

Here is a link to the sketch up file.

Any input on this box design? Or reasons it won't work? The port is in an awkward spot , but it is still tuned correctly to my knowledge
