Measure the following:

the power wire from the alternator to the +battery terminal

The Ground wire from the engine block to the - battery terminal and the chassis to -battery terminal.

its good wire. yea we can add a fuse holder. prob 4feet for a town car. yea they come with terminals.

got a 94 chevy z71, batt neg to engine ground is 28 w/o terminals, and positive to alt is 32 w/o terminals and my negative to chassis is likr 4 inches away but i wanna reroute it, any suggestions where? it is currently to the fender. thanks!!
