Custom a pillars and speaker positions.

Planning on settin up my a pillars later on, figured Id pop the question now just to start the thinking processs early.

Figured putting the tweets and 4" mids in the pillars. What would get the best sq, aiming them horizontally across the dash or aiming them straght ahead. Or does it matter.

What are the pros and cons.

And if there are any other types of position combinations how would you set them up.

This is way down the road but its good to think about it from now till then.

Depends on how the speakers play on or off axis. However, pointing them straight across will cause a lot of reflections off the mirror and it'll be tough to get good imaging.

Yeah best bet is to play around with the drivers you get before you actually build pillars. Use two sided tape or something like that. Might be best to aim them at opposite seat's headrest, speakers might like across the dash, tough to say in your car really.
