should i go for them? i like my polks but isnt eclipse supposed to blow them away? or am i just believing hype?

i mainly listen to rock music stuff like 3 doors down, trapt, strata, three days grace, breaking benjamin, stuff like that

No way! I have that same amp and I think I can safely say stick with the polks. Eclipse is nice, but no way you will blow those polks away with them. If you want to upgrade try the polk momo's. Polk MOMO MMC6500

They will own any eclipse made speaker and tons of people will back me up on that one.

I gurantee you, the better buy will be the Polk MOMO's

Best upgrade you'll ever make....I still mist them and I upgraded to a pair of Boston Acoustic Z6's
