MAGA: If nearly everything you believe is based on some kind of conspiracy, maybe it’s time you realize you might not be believing in the reality in which most people are living.
You believe Democrats “rig elections,” even as Republicans control the Senate, the House, the White House, and 26 of the 50 governorships.
You believe the No Kings rallies are “paid actors,” but you can’t explain how roughly 8–9 million people were paid, by whom (and don’t give me George Soros), or how in the world any entity could organize that many people across thousands of cities and towns to show up for a single event.
You believe there’s a massive media conspiracy against Donald Trump, yet you watch Fox News, which employs several individuals who’ve worked for Trump, including his daughter-in-law, and whose entire primetime lineup is hosted by openly conservative supporters of Trump — but you don’t think that network is, in any way, biased or slanted.
For years, you claimed Democrats were trafficking children and that the Epstein files, along with his death, were part of a massive Democrat-controlled conspiracy. That was until Trump ordered his Department of Justice to cover up their release, calling it all a “hoax,” while trying to bully members of his own party into voting against releasing them. Now, you don’t seem to think there’s a powerful entity trying to protect child predators.
During his presidency, you accused Barack Obama of being a secret Muslim and of faking two forms of his birth certificate — neither of which is true — yet you blindly believed all of that nonsense anyway.
Next, it was the Clinton Foundation, which you said was a front for the Bill and Hillary corruption empire, taking in millions of dollars from foreign governments, including Qatar. Yet you’re fine with Trump taking a $400 million plane from Qatar and setting up a crypto scheme where people from anywhere in the world could funnel millions directly into his pockets.
Then it became the “Biden massive crime syndicate” that he was somehow running and masterminding, all while you accused Joe of suffering from dementia and claimed he wasn’t the real president because he lacked the mental faculties for the job. Yet now you’re okay with Trump’s family growing their net worth by over $2 billion, while this president occasionally goes on nearly five-minute incoherent rants about Sharpie pens.
You believed Obama was being influenced by foreign groups, but now you seem okay with Benjamin Netanyahu’s control over our government and with Republican members of Congress who appear more dedicated to the Israeli prime minister’s interests than our own — such as Senators Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham.
Many of you thought the Jade Helm military exercise during Obama’s presidency was a huge conspiracy to confiscate guns. Yet you’re okay with Trump sending the National Guard into city streets against the wishes of local and state governments, while he uses ICE as his personal paramilitary force to deploy wherever he wishes.
You’ve always claimed that Democrats want “big government and to control states” — something they’ve never actually done — but you’re okay with Trump threatening or attempting to blackmail any state that dares pass legislation he doesn't support.
Again, if everything you believe — whether it’s to attack your opponents or support the people you vote for — is rooted in some kind of nefarious conspiracy, maybe it’s time you realize you might be living in a reality that doesn’t actually exist. One created by people in power who stand to gain financially by manipulating you to hate half the country — so that you don’t notice their gains are coming at your expense.
