I love how *** is censored and so is ****** but I can say ****.
the ad censor is in place because all the vitriol here needs to be slowed way down. Also, Google, the ad network on the site, has been actively removing ads on this particular thread and others because of the inappropriate posts. If ads go, so does the site. It already loses big money every month as it is. If anyone can’t handle a simple word censor, then this isn’t the place for you.

Let the admin bashing begin…

You think THIS nonsense: "What my sister said is, "The definition of a Court's Decision is a conviction."" is the exact same thing as the legal definition?
Lay off the pipe, bud. It's rotting your brain.
Dude.
You're just so delusional that you can't even get over your great need to have to be right. What my sister said is exactly what the actual definition is. You're just trying to swing the conversation to avoid having to admit you were wrong.

You have yet to prove where I said he is a convicted rap*st.
At this point, you have demonstrated you are entirley incapable of doing so.
Good job at failing. Kudos.
Again, you are just too closed minded to think straight. Stop trying to avoid the actual conversation. I already proved you said he was "Convicted" by you simply saying, "it was a court decision." A "Conviction" and a "Court Decision" is the exact same thing.

So I guess you were speaking for everyone else BUT yourself, when you said "we have all owned one" and "most of us still use them".
I'm sure the group appreciates you as the spokesperson, but not a participant.
Why are you always trying to start a fight? WHY??? Are you that lonely and in need of attention? Doesn't Duluth have a gathering place for lonely people, like you, to go and enjoy life?

In the far past, I owned a Chinese amp. It was back in the 90's. It was actually given to me. And, yes, I would say that most of the members on here use them. What's wrong with that? Where's the issue in that statement?

A spokesman? You think it was wrong for me to say that most of us use these amps? Let's take a toll right now. Who was offended by me stating "Most of us still use Chinese amps?"

Attorney vs Always Right Rob... Well Rob has yet to be wrong, so I'm siding with Rob.

Dude. You're delusional if you think your sister is an attorney who says the definition of a court decison IS a conviction.
I literally GAVE you the definition that proves the assertion false.
Stop making up these life scenarios that are so ridiculous.

A court decision is not by default a conviction.
You claimed repeatedly that I said Trump was convicted, and failed repeatedly to show evidence that I did so.
Stop failing, and start producing the evidence to back your claim.

Because you contradicted yourself, and accused me of taking your words as truths when they were not. Or maybe they are.
A spokesman? You think it was wrong for me to say that most of us use these amps? Let's take a toll right now. Who was offended by me stating "Most of us still use Chinese amps?"
Using or not, and being offended by people using or not are two COMPLETELY different thoughts.
You're like that old lady who offers someone a cookie, then decides that person hates cookies if they decline the offer.

How in the F did you jump from your assumption that everyone (except you) uses Chinese amps, to people being offended by the claim?
That's about as weird a tangent as I've seen in a while.

BTW - Any headway on getting the data on the enhanced performance of 99.99% pure copper over 99.9% pure copper, especially in the car audio realm of power delivery?

"Attorney" who doesn't understand what a court decision is.
Like his "Fire Chief" buddy, who doesn't know the flow rate of a fire hydrant.
Like his "Mayor" buddy, who doesn't know what water towers exist in his town.

Pretty soon, we're going to hear about his "Microsoft software developer" buddy, who is unfamiliar with DOS.

Google "Definition of a Court Decision,' and this is what you get.
"A court decision is the formal, legally binding determination of a case's outcome made by a judge, jury, or tribunal, addressing the rights and obligations of the parties involved. It encompasses the final ruling, the legal reasoning (opinion), and any court orders resulting from the evaluation of evidence and applicable law. A court decision differs from an opinion in that the decision represents the final, enforceable resolution, whereas the opinion explains the rationale behind that result. "

Mic Drop!!!

Read above definition of a "Court Decision."

You really need to stop listening to those voices in your head and keep to the actual conversation. Please point out where I said 'Everyone uses Chinese amps?

The weird tangent is coming from you as you make up conversations that never happened.

Again, with you making up conversations. Please provide the proof that I said anything about copper being better than copper. You really need to stop making up conversations in your head and spewing it like it's a fact. Or maybe, you don't know the difference between CCA and OFC.

But your "attorney" sister said the definition of a court decision is a conviction. I don't see the word conviction up there at all.
And you forgot to provide a citation other than Google for the above.

Pick the mic back up, share a link, and explain why the definition does not match what your "attorney" "sister" said.
Read above definition of a "Court Decision."
It curiously does not contain the word "conviction", and does not match what your "attorney" "sister" said.
Why do you think it helps your argument?

" In here, we have all owned one and most of us still use them." Old_Slapper

Old_Slapper is your unique user name, yes?
Was there another "Old_Slapper", and you got a recycled user name, or are those your own words from your own post?

The weird tangent is coming from you as you make up conversations that never happened.

You decided to jump in and claim that I said there was no diff between OFC and CCA (when you "Spit out your Dr. Pepper" - you must do a lot of mopping and keyboard replacement), then spewed some nonsense about how ETP will degrade terribly in a car environment (ever hear of insulated wires?).
That is an implicit suggestion that OFC is better than ETP for car audio use.

Further, you suggested the Newbie continue to use his $50 "% Farad) crapacitors, which are almost guaranteed to hurt and not help, and should be removed as a matter of course for troubleshooting a power issue. Do you not know about eliminating variables in order to diagnose an issue?

So since no one else seems to be able to share, go ahead and tell me why OFC makes for a better listening experience.

I can't believe I have to do this.
Definition of a Court Conviction: A court conviction is the formal, legal determination that a defendant is guilty of a crime, resulting from a jury verdict, a judge's ruling in a bench trial, or the acceptance of a guilty/no contest plea. It marks the official judgment of guilt, generally requiring the imposition of a sentence, and becomes a permanent record.

Hence, a "court decision" is the same thing as a "court conviction."

(I picked up the mic and dropped it again.)

Yes, and I apologized for misunderstanding what you were saying. I went over that already.

I can't believe I have to explain this to you. Oxygen oxidized copper. OFC has less oxygen in it than ETP. It's 10ppm vs up to 400ppm. Sure, you can have insulation on the coper, but that doesn't help protect the copper from the oxygen that is already in the copper. See how that works? You should get MECP certified. This info is in the Basic Certification book. SO, for car audio use, OFC is better than ETP.

The capacitors are cheap capacitors, but the ones he is using still work. They still supply backup power when needed. Granted, they don't hold the capacity that they claim, but they still hold power. If they had a no-name China name on the can, I would not recommend them. Is there a chance I could be wrong and these caps are bad? That would involve some trouble shooting. Tell me why you think you are a car audio professional?

I'm not mad lol just thought it was funny. Check out the Epstein files:

"Documents released in the latest tranche from the DOJ reveal an unfathomable horror: that Epstein and his accomplices were breeding undocumented children to sell on the black market as infants."

“"Hundreds of girls were enslaved over years, lived on farms in Goias, and served as wombs to get pregnant for their babies to be sold,” Bittencourt alleged. These same allegations were made against Epstein by the sender in the email disclosed in the latest batch of the Epstein Files, who wrote, “[REDACTED] spoke of this going on at Zorro Ranch. She has said on record that Epstein offered her money to do this. Birth babies for black market use.”"

Sorry Slapper, "hence" doesn't cut it for legal definitions.
An Adjudication is considered a court decision, but decidedly NOT a conviction.
A Dismissal (with or without prejudice) is a court decision, but decidedly NOT a conviction.
A Remand is a court decision, but decidedly NOT a conviction.
A Summary Judgment is a court decision, but decidedly NOT a conviction.

HENCE, a court decision is not by definition a conviction.
Your "sister" needs to go back to school if she helped you get that wrong.

If you want to deny your own post, have at it.
It does nothing more than make you look schizophrenic, but OK.

So, can you explain how you made the leap from ownership to anger about ownership?
Yes, and I apologized for misunderstanding what you were saying. I went over that already.

I fail to see where that shows a better listening experience when going from 99.99% pure to 99.9% pure.
Empirical data is a nice thing, despite some people thinking science should be ignored, and feelings revered.
The capacitors are cheap capacitors, but the ones he is using still work. They still supply backup power when needed. Granted, they don't hold the capacity that they claim, but they still hold power. Even if brand new, there have been plenty of scientific (gasp) tests done and published online that show these crapacitors are causing voltage drops in use.
The tests are done using things like regulated power supplies, amplifier dynos, sine wave generators, powers soaks, etc, etc. So far, there have been no miracle $50 capacitors that transform a system, or even work.

And once again, it's basic troubleshooting to remove all unknown variables that can contribute to (or cause) a problem.
Or are you one of those guys who just starts replacing parts or adding parts until the problem goes away?
