Hmmm. Even if we started at $30 billion per month in JANUARY, that would only be $270 billion in the first 9 months.

Trump is claiming $600 Billion, which is just not possible.
Where is the Trump administration going to get the missing hundreds of billions of dollars from?
They'd better come up with it damn fast. I want my $2,000 tariff rebate, my $10,000 tax burden decrease, and the US debt paid off, like he promised.

Or were those all just more of his usual bullshit promises?

Wouldn't it just kill the left if they did send out checks and did do a tax burden decrease but only for registered Republican voters. I mean, if you don't support Trump then why should you benefit from his term?

Its gonna hurt some of the left anyways when the checks go out. I believe it is for people who work to get checks. Not the welfare people. I'm disabled and don't expect a check or really want one unless the idiots get one too. I have plans for the $$$ in that case.
Some compensation for the unemployed is possible I think but following the get a job path /w/ applications and/or service is probably something the biggest complainers won't even try.
Theres a section of society that think everything is free and for extra cash crime is the way to go since they're never prosecuted.
I hear so many people spouting off about they deserve free money and I'm a guy who worked for mine until I became disabled. Now at this point in my life I don't want freebies if it props the bums so to speak. No FS or anything around here but I did work 30yr and my ssdi is just enough.

I'm guessing at this point the Tariff proceeds so far are just enough to cover the fraud in California and Illinois.

Just those 2 states will be a black hole /w/ minimal clawbacks imo.

The gift that keeps giving, fund an Ngo or start a altruistic sounding concern that grabs govt money. Secure votes /w/ kickbacks in both directions and call it "community","for the kids" or "helping the disabled" to avoid scrutiny. Thank god the whole house of cards is finally getting looked into.

The bad actors are from other places sure but the generals and biggest grifters are homegrown officials and directors.

The system can't fix itself and its obvious.

You do realize that in 2024, California gave the feds $275 Billion more than they got back, yes?
Illinois gave $89 Billion more than they got back.

If EVERYTHING was fraud there, they covered it themselves, PLUS paid the bill for a bunch of other taker states.

You made some really poor choices for your examples of financial "black holes", bud.
