Current events discussion

Oh hey @RobGMN here are two of my .357 handguns. My buddy was holding the Smith. The other is my Rossi M971. Both magnums of course.

List of Dems who voted against paying military during the shutdown. Yeah Team Blue. Keep in mind Team Blue had over decade to make the ACA credits permanent. Kinda like killing unborn babies - they had a good ~50 years to pass legislation to protect women's right to deletus their *****, but they didn't.

Does your Grandmother still wipe your *** and hold the tissue for you to blow your nose?
Sounds like something you are familiar with.
Both my grandmothers have been dead for a combined time longer than you've been alive.

Does your dad do those things for you, or does grandma live in the home, too?
Hep peckerhead.... This is a manual/mechanical boost controller. It uses a screw, a spring and a ball bearing to set boost pressure. You set it by twisting the screw one way or the other. This increased pressure on the ball, increasing boost or lessens pressure on the ball, less boost. This is the design I used.

Where does/did the air bleed off on the one you pretended was yours?
I can't see all sides in the picture, obviously.
This next one is electronic... meaning it controls the boost electronically.

So it sends voltage into the pressurized air line to reduce the pressure, and fool the car into making higher boost?

Uhhh, nope. That is just the control panel. It's missing the valve that does the air bleedoff to control the boost.
The valve that manually (mechanically) opens and closes to control airflow.

There is no way to make electricity control airflow through a silicone hose. At least not any way that would be used on a car, or available for $155.00

You know all this, and were just excited to see the Apex unit on eBay, I'm sure.
I'm just explaining it for the guys here who don't get "balls deep" into modifying their cars.
Maybe something they've wondered about, but never wanted to ask.

That's some pretty good spin there.

You forgot the part that the Dems wanted ALL Federal workers to get paid, not just the ones that the Republicans hand-picked as their favorites.

"Democrats were instead backing a bill from Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) that would pay all federal workers during the shutdown — furloughed employees, servicemembers and contractors. It also would bar the Trump administration from using “reductions in force” orders to fire workers for the duration of the funding lapse.
“Republicans are hell-bent on letting Trump pick winners and losers here, but every federal worker, servicemember, and federal contractor deserves to get paid,” Van Hollen said in a statement Thursday.

Democrats asked for unanimous consent Thursday to pass their proposal
on the Senate floor, which Van Hollen introduced less than an hour before the scheduled vote on Johnson’s bill. That effort was blocked by Republicans."

"Sen. Gary Peters (D-Mich.) also sought unanimous consent approval for his own federal employee pay bill, that would have provided a one-time appropriation to pay servicemembers, federal employees and contractors missing paychecks during the shutdown. His request was also defeated by Republicans. He and Van Hollen supported each other’s bills."

Isn't it interesting what the WHOLE story tells, and not just the right-wing spin?

And, can you explain the correlation between you not having the right to tell a woman what she can do with her own body, and Republicans refusing to help Federal workers get paid during the shutdown?
I really can't see the connection, there.
