Specifically targeting politicians is a political reason, until there is some other common thread between all of them that is discovered.

"They were all elected officials. They were all Democrats."

Tyler Robinson kills Charlie Kirk and specifically states it's due to kirk spreading hatred, but within minutes it's a "political assassination" (Kirk was NOT a politician) by a "radicalized liberal" (from a pretty much 100% right-wing family) and we must "go to war on the liberals".

Vance Boelter goes on a murder spree, and has a list of specifically Democrat elected officials that he wants to kill, but we can't jump to a conclusion that there was political motivation?

Are you thinking maybe he had special glasses and could see through their outer skin to the real beings inside?
Maybe he realized they all wore something red on the first Tuesday of every month?

If there was a common thread/reason, why would it not be part of his writings? He bothered to write down the plot that Waltz gave him the orders on two people (which was a political reason).
Why not write down why the rest of the Democrats were on the list?
Why were there not Republican lawmakers?

82-84% of the right self-identifies as Christian (PRRI and PEW research polls).
Non-voting or non-affiliated Christians would have no relevance to the discussion of Christians who demand that laws be shaped around their belief structure, right?
And I think 82-84% is well above an overwhelming majority.

With the overwhelming majority being Christian, would it not be fair to say the right is "Christian"?

No one said that Republicans encouraged him to do it. Someone here has said even though he specifically targeted Democrats and claims he was order to hit these people to further Tim Walz's career, there is no reason to consider his actions political.
