Ironically, you almost need somebody above the law to fix gov't waste. Clearly the liberals plan to obstruct and delay in hopes of recapturing either Congress or the White House before any headway can be made.

I get giving lip service to eliminating gov't waste and then not doing anything, but at this point the Dems/libs are openly siding on the side of continuing to waste taxpayer dollars. That's nuts. This is where TDS/EDS has taken them - oppose all things Trump. Can't wait to see them complaining about Trump stemming the flow Fentanyl.

It's like driving down a road full of pot holes and asking yourself... where do my tax dollars go? Well, now we have someone letting us know. I really don't know why the left would not want to know... it can't all be just because they hate Trump. If it is, that is one of the most sad things I have ever heard.

Also, the left focusing on "all the bad things Trump has done" and by that I mean all the things the left has dedicated their lives to creating or finding just to hurt Trump. They focus on all that instead of being one nation. This decade has shown me just how easy it is for the government and the liberal media to control minds.

Wow... I was thinking the same. Well similar. My thoughts were perhaps Trump should back off from the endorsing Tesla... then I was like no, now we will see how the left really are.

The left had no problem with Biden endorsing Ford & Chevy EVs. And lets not forget not too long ago, Tesla was the darling of the left (and hated by the right). And what administration gave Tesla a low interest loan to kick start the company? What administration started the EV credits program? Odd how that works. The left is up in arms because Elon is donating his time to the American Taxpayers to eliminate pork from the budget. I guess saving pork barrel spending is more important than saving the environment.

That really bother's you? Do you really think Trump endorsing Tesla is really bumping Tesla's stock price? From my POV, Elon's connection to Trump appears to not only be tanking Tesla stock, but also triggering a violent (terrorist?) movement against Tesla. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, it bothers me. It's favoritism, it's stock manipulation, it's a conflict of interest on Musk's part.
If we're just going to say "**** it all", then I want some insider action with indemnity. I want to know a week before a company is going to post something that is guaranteed to drive their stock up, so I can load up, then sell at a very healthy profit.

I want my electric car advertised on the White House lawn so all the Trump Thumpers who said electric cars were not viable can suddenly decide they need an electric car.

A "violent movement against Tesla"? Trump pardoned all of the insurrectionists who attacked our Capitol building in an attempted coup, but we're going to call car vandals terrorists, because Musk was the biggest donor to the Trump campaign?

Like I said before, it's as if we're living in the Upside Down.

As I said, I hope laws are passed during this administration that will prevent these kinds of fraudulent spending of tax dollars by the government. Maybe term limits. Extra checks and balances on spending. Permanent DOGE.

I thought it was up to the legal system to determine what crime they will be charged with, not the general public, you, or the press.

See, you jump to conclusions before all the answers are in. You do that on this website too.

I'd really like to know where our education dollars are going. The US spends ~$15k/yr/pupil and failing our kids at an alarming rate.

I'm gonna throw this in here. My kid participates in this program called Avid that is supposedly a class to prepare them for college. What it really is a class where they literally do nothing. They'll take a field trip to visit a local college once or twice a year and that's all the "college prep" they do. It's basically a free period for the kids to do homework, play board games, fart around on their laptops or phones. And it's a guaranteed A to boost their GPA. Really the class would probably benefit the kids that aren't college bound or on the border. For kids that are excelling and on their way to college this is a waste of time. And some teacher is getting paid ~$60k/yr + benefits to "teach" this class.

I think ANY time you aim a 5,000 lb projectile at a human, death is the expected outcome.
