That's not accurate at all. One, a tax cut could be crafted in a way to encourage capital spending. Furthermore, there are plenty of examples of supply side driven growth. As I mentioned before GATT & NAFTA were just big corporate tax breaks, but fueled economic growth. The widespread adoption of Windows Desktops also fueled by supply side expansion. Clinton's economic growth & policy was supply side based, confirmed by no less than Art Laffer. Just because you don't like supply side economic policies, hate the rich or whatever else is driving you're subjective feelings about supply side doesn't mean these policies don't objectively work.

Again....miss me with the bullshit. Supply side/trickle down economics is easily disprovable....and we have decades of proof that it's never worked as republicans claim. It's a joke even from a common sense standpoint. Companies produce what consumers will buy. They don't force excess into the market and pay the costs for something there is no demand for. It simply doesn't pass the sniff test....and it really doesn't take anyone with more than a middle school education to figure that out.....which would explain why righties fall for it over and over again.

What does work to drive economic growth is more disposable income in the hands of consumers. Excess demand.....that drive investment in growth. So why the trickle down economics BS? Because right wing voters don't know any better. Nothing more than a scam.

Supply-side worked just fine under Clinton. Just because you claim it's scam doesn't make it so.

ROFL. Know how I know that you're talking out your ***? Please point me towards the significant cuts made to the the corporate tax rate under Clinton. Thanks.

lol....and Art Laffer is donkey brains in human form. Not surprised that he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about either.

Since you're an "expert" why aren't YOU fixing things...

Hey guys. I've been pretty busy this week. Being a janitor is pretty busy work. There's a lot of toilets to clean and floors to mop. However, I have a few moments to try and catch up. I see Rob has a new friend.

Wow, you'd think alot more people are getting shot by the PoPo. Funny thing is it looks like ~2-3x white guys are getting shot compared to black or Hispanic. I must have missed the Rachel Maddow episode about that statistic. I'm sure Cooper Anderson brought it up numerous times during the BLM riots.
What's covered is only covered to fit a narrative

And this is from 2 black professors. I never thought the police got a fair shake in that case. If I were resisting arrest, I'd expect the neck on the back of the neck. George Floyd had lots of experience with law enforcement and should have been familiar with that tactic. OTOH, if I were on the jury, I would have been highly tempted to vote guilty just to avoid having my home burned down, etc.

Edit: Youtube won't let me post the link. Search for "The Fall of Minneapolis" on Youtube if you want all the footage surrounding George Floyd's arrest.
He was also high as fck...and not a Willie Nelson kinda high either 😂

It's crazy that he actually believes cops won't hesitate to kill people. I guess our police force is just full of cold blooded killers waiting for an excuse to Glock somebody.
Maybe if we didn't hire small, emotional, or out of shape police and required real training to restrain someone...there'd be even fewer police pulling triggers...

But in all honesty I'd bet pancakes kill about as many people a year as police 🤣

I see you all are talking about who should be taxed and who shouldn't? What I will say is going to be a gut wrencher, but it's a fact.

If you put a high tax on corporations, the only people that will be negatively affected are the consumers and the employees. Corporations rely on stock investments. If a corporation doesn't meet their budgeted goals, their stocks drop. If they are taxed higher, this affects their goal. So, they end up raising their prices and cutting operation costs. This leads to pay cuts and layoffs. If you tax them less, the corporations will put more into their employees and keep costs lower. Just think if it was your corporation. You would never want your company to show a negative growth. You would lose all of your investors.
