I use that site, but I think it's a little behind the times. Pre-covid, I'd agree with this assessment of NPR. Clearly NPR has shifted to the left and is more concerned about the narrative than being factually accurate.

PALM BEACH, FL — In his most impactful promise yet in the lead-up to being inaugurated in January, President-elect Donald Trump announced an ambitious plan to annex the nation of Canada and rename it "Gay North Dakota."
Following a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at Mar-a-Lago, Trump worked with his inner circle to devise the plan to have the U.S. absorb Canada as the 51st state of the union while changing its name to something that better describes its people and culture.
"It'll be a wonderful addition to our country, Gay North Dakota," Trump told reporters when revealing the plan. "It's large. Very large. A lot of trees and moose there, they tell me. We knew we would need to give it another name so everyone would know it's part of the United States. We thought about ‘Gay California,' but Canada is too cold and California is already Gay California. So we picked ‘Gay North Dakota.' It's just like North Dakota, only much larger and very, very gay. We're going to love our new state, aren't we, folks?"

I totally support this plan, except I think it should be Soy North Dakota.

Is it? Do we even have an accurate stat to work off for that? **** is (allegedly) under reported. The other problem I have is if we make a **** exception, we've already seen women will make false **** allegations (EJ Carroll comes to mind), so we end up with dudes getting accused of **** and hypothetically the cases would have to slammed through. Or if we just let women just claim **** without needing to bring charges, we'll end up with the feminist harpies using that stat to further their misandrist agenda. The more I look at Roe v Wade, the more I think the USSC got that decision right.

So the fact checker use percentage of GDP to claim lied? Did Trump say it was a the largest cut based on percentage of GDP? Why is it I suspect this is just twisting the facts/stats to fit an agenda?
