I'll say this about rooftops. When Obama was in Denver for the DNC, they didn't have every rooftop covered either. Also the there is a reliance on technology. Because of the shooters age and apparent lack of online ranting, he wasn't on any watch list.

That said, Trump's female security team embarrassed themselves. It's one thing to hire women in some misguided attempt to create equality. OTOH, why aren’t these women training? If you can't properly holster your weapon, then clearly you can't deploy it, and haven't been training. It's a good thing she didn't have to engage a shooter.

Well, they Secret Service Director came out and admitted that this guy was on their watch list. On top of that, a police officer did climb up to confront the shooter, but when the shooter swung the gun around and pointed it as the officer, the office jumped back down the latter. To make it all worse, the PD tactical team was staged inside that building. Talk about feeling like a loser... Could you imagine being at a rally to protect the president and your entire team is in the building while the shooter is on the roof?

Because they want trump to die. It's simple. This was a setup by basically whoever manages security at some level in the chain of command. It only makes sense if it was all intentional.

I haven't heard that. WTF?!?!?! OTOH, I'm not sure I trust the SS Director, she may be trying to cover up what a piss poor job they did by pretending they had the guy on a watch list. PD - so that's local not SS??? Why didn't the officer engage??? And WTF didn't the tactical team engage??? Lots of questions need answering. I'm pretty quick to dismiss the conspiracy theories, but if what you posted is accurate (and I'm too lazy and tired to check right now), that's a lot of loose thread.

Interesting. So you're saying rhetoric like this repeated over and over again can lead to somebody doing something stupid? Does the same apply to the rhetoric leading up to Jan 6th???

That said there is a vast difference between irresponsible rhetoric, irresponsible security and some sort of plan to either assassinate Trump or ensuring security was lax enough that there was a good chance Trump would get assassinated.

Additionally, not everything is adding up. I'm having a hard time believing this particular kid made a headshot at ~130m. Maybe he spent a lot of time at the range, but that's a hard shot. OTOH, we numerous snipers in the area capable of making not just a head shot, but an earshot at that range. This event (IMHO) cements Trump as the next POTUS.

This is quite a bit different and not nearly as comparable. It's like comparing the J6 riot to the Summer of Love riots. I really wish people would stop drinking that juice.

Here's a fact for you.

• Yes, J6 is considered to be a riot.
• The only person who died was an unarmed women who was being pushing through a window.
• A group of paid individuals, working for the dems, acting like MAGA supporters, encouraging people to rush the capital.
• Capital police showed the rioters how to get into the chambers.
• Congress resumed their meeting shortly after the rioters left the capital building.

Now stop trying to bring this up as world ending event. It just sounds like leftest rhetoric that is trying to cover up all the death and destruction their party leaves?

Come to think about it, please compare the MAGA riots and actions to the dems riots and actions. At the same time please add the number of deaths and destruction that was caused by these events. That will give us a much better idea on how bad the J6 riot was.

The shadow gov wants Trump dead...that's the point...none of the failures were accidents.
