That salute cannot be confused for anything than what it is, unless someone is trying to backpedal and say "context changes the Nazi salute".
No, context will NEVER change what that salute is, no matter how much spin or backpedaling is applied.

It was used to show allegiance to Hitler, and was actually a mandate to salute him, even for civilians. It is actually illegal in Germany, Slovakia, Austria, is consider hate speech in other countries, and was just made illegal in Australia, due to what it very clearly represents.

So, what "context" changes the salute? Is there also a "context" that changes a swastika into something different? We saw an awful lot of those being bandied about by Trump supporters in the not-distant past.
Just waving hands and flags?

I don't believe they're accessing my private info. Everything indicates they're looking at gov't spending, not farming individual taxpayer information.

They have taken/been given access to the Treasury Department's payment system.
"The Treasury Department’s payment system includes the systems that control money for federal grants, payments for Social Security and Medicare, tax information and payments to government contractors."

So since according to you, put your money where your mouth is and publish your info, that according to you Musk already has.

Once again, common sense would tell you I DO NOT BELIEVE THEY SHOULD HAVE ANY ACCESS TOT EH INFO, SINCE THEY ARE NOT GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, OR EVEN APPOINTEES.

If you feel that some rando and his team of goons should have access to info that could be yours (assuming you worked and paid into Social Security at some point), simply because he threw a ton of money at Trump (and Trump intimates rigged the election for him), then go ahead and post your info here.
Show us how it doesn't matter that any random person could have access to that data.

What's ironic is that you once expressed concern to me that someone here might figure out who I am, from my sharing of judge's decisions on hearings I prosecuted, but you think Musk and the Goon Squad should have unfettered access to the country.
Again: He's not elected, he's not appointed, he hasn't been contracted, they haven't been vetted.

Except the video of the seconds before and after show that they were waving. A wave and a Nazi salute are VERY distinctly different, if you have ever seen either of them.

There is NO way anyone can mistake what Musk did as a "wave" in any sense of the word. Look at this video, and suggest to me that this man, who you think should have unfettered and unrestricted access to Treasury systems, is too dumb to know that this is a Nazi salute.
If he is THAT uninformed, he shouldn't be trusted to take out the garbage at McDonald's.

The problem is I know all sorts of people who make similar gestures (as evidenced by all the dems caught doing it). The Nazi Salute wasn't off to the side like that. But hey, if warms your heart to call everybody who doesn't agree with your politics Nazis, fascists, dictators, bigots, Nazi sympathizers, white supremists, etc, then please do so. Yes. There is nothing on record showing that they were vetted or even hired. It takes months, not days to gain security level access as a government employee. Even simple background checks don't happen that fast.

What is uncovered is not relevant to the fact that the law is being broken by putting Musk and his gang where they are.
Are you comfortable with the law being broken in order to prevent the law from being broken? Let the cops beat a confession out of someone if they know they are guilty?

Except in Germany they don't give a **** about "context".

I'm sure TrumpCo can get the backgrounds done in a few days. My DOD background was completed in a week and I was a low level employee. Plus these guys are all really young, which means there isn't much background to check.

I never said I know people who do Nazi salutes just like Musk. I said I know lots of people who make similar gestures (kinda like Obama, the Clintons, AOC). Some of them are liberals and even suffer from TDS. But stick with the "Elon is some sort of clandestine Nazi" narrative, it just makes the left look ever increasingly desperate.

What will you guys do when Trump leaves office and Elon doesn't seize control of the gov't?
