Also Rob has stated he has a simple install...so his "processing" is from that entry level droid not a dsp so all his talk of resolution and optical is non-existent in his ride 🤣🤣🤣

Are you having your period? Is there a reason you are choosing to be this dumb? Do I really have to clarify this to you for a 3rd time? Apparently I do.

Your claim!!!! ----> "An output on one device must connect to an INPUT on another device." - RobGMN

Are these not your words? Is this not your claim??? Sure looks that way. Again, I made a 100% correct statement and you turn into rubber brain and start arguing. Only if you are using THAT output does it have to connect glass licker.
An irrelevant deflection on your part.
For data to be transmitted, YES the output must connect to an input.

Stop trying to steer away from your AI-generated and copied claim that optical cable is limited to 96kHz.
Optical cable can do 192kHz or better. Or, do you want to argue against the idea that every WiiM with optical outputs running 192kHz actually works?

Hmmm, OPTICAL output at 192 kHz.

So, how do you get sound from that optical output without connecting it to an input on antoehr device?
Magic?

It's your shit.
No thread name or post number provided. Because there is none.
So you lied yet again.
Not surprised.

Since his Obama distraction failed spectacularly, he'll just try another.
The pathetic old fart seems to forget that he was investigated by the FEC, but it was dismissed because he took the cheap way out.

Oh that ego of yours. Instead of just saying yes, you are right you just restate what I said. You are a class act.

I will show you this one more time. I know you will still ignore it... well, because you are dumb. I did not say an optical cable is limited to 96kHz. Now, here is where I PROVE what I said...

"Typical optical cables can handle 96kHz while digital coaxial audio cables can handle 192kHz. While toslink rejects noise the noise from coaxial is negligible."

Typical optical cables as in mass produced, run of the mill, cheap *** every day optical cables. If you want to transmit your 192kHz then you will want to use a quality cable. If that WiiM is able to do 192kHz then it is probably using a quality cable.

Digital coaxial cables don't need to be higher quality as they use copper conductors to transmit the signal and have no issues with 192kHz.

For the love of all that is good and pure... PLEASE, stfu.

Damn you are just... dumb. All this because you refuse to read everything and try to form your own opinion from partial information. EGO runnin WILD!!

Rob is a headline reader...that's why he posts pics and not links...it's how he can hide where he gets his "knowledge" from...it's an idiot's solution to sources being ripped apart 😉

At the time they offered re-manufactured, used and new. I wanted a virgin. Comparing this player to MANY other players such as Astell & Kern, Onkyo and Sony I found this one to have most of the features I wanted at the best price. Being able to expand my storage via microSD was a must and a deal breaker if it did not have it.

Rob is hung up on believing something is no good unless it is made right now. The player I have may have been made in 2022 or whatever but it is still supported, does all that I want and more and it makes me smile. Sounds angelic with my IEM's.
I hada pair of Fiio IEMs. I really liked them, but they bit the dust.

As long as we stopped counting, the number of infections would be lower.
Right?

"If we stop testing right now, we'd have very few cases, if any," Trump asserted. -June 15, 2020.
It was interesting conversation. As we know, hospitals had incentive to "find" Covid cases. In this case, there was political pressure from the coroner's officer to not put Covid on death certs. I have no idea what was behind that, but I assume lower Covid #s would make it easier to justify rejecting CDC guidelines. Might have been as simple as if Team Blue says/does X, then we're going to do Y.

That movie held up amazingly well after all these years. The outfits worn date it a bit, but it actually held up much better than the followup they made.

Didn't HAL go "nuts" because it couldn't reconcile that it was having a malfunction, with the fact that it should not HAVE malfunctions?
The robot "went nuts" in Alien too, although in that case, it was clear that it was following orders.

You mean like a run of the mill cheap *** cable for $7.99? Or do you think $7.99 is a high-end price for a high-end cable, or that WiiM ships high end cables with their $149 products?
Digital coaxial cables don't need to be higher quality as they use copper conductors to transmit the signal and have no issues with 192kHz.
And the cheap ones are definitely not prone to EMI or RFI interference 🙄

I wish you would do that every time you post false information.

Yeah, the "partial information" that Toshiba (inventor of TOSLINK) says that optical cable can do 192 kHz.
The "partial information" that the WiiM has an optical output transmitting 192kHz over the cheap mass-produced fiber cable they include with their streamer.
The "partial information" that the MacBook Pro used an optical output at 192kHx ten years ago.
The "partial information" that FireTV players output 192 kHz via optical.
The "partial information" that Cambridge Audio offers streamers that output via optical at 192 kHz.
The "partial information" that Denon HEOS Link outputs via optical at 192 kHz.
The "partial information" that the Techinics SLG700 can output via optical at 192 KhZ.
The "partial information that Soundblaster sells audio devices with 192 kHz optical output.

Are you suggesting that I should buy all of the products offered as having the output, and do my own tests before believing the manufacturer?
Is that why it took you five years to finally buy the FiiO? You were testing every DAP out there to make sure the mfgrs weren't lying about the specs?

You make a joke of yourself every time you pull that "you need to ignore the facts and form your own OPINIONS" crap.
You form your own opinions and get it wrong.
It's your shit.
Still waiting for that thread name and post number here.
Did you forget that, like you forget everything else? Or, did you form your own wrong opinion again?

Do you honestly believe hospitals were unnecessarily admitting people on Medicare and declaring them as COVID patients, just so they could get more money than they get from non-COVID Medicare patients?

I'm not familiar with the pressure to NOT put COIVD on the DCs. I remember the right screaming from the rooftops that it was being put on the DC when it was a "fake" illness.
When did they flip that script?
I would think the more COVID numbers, the easier to ignore rules for the emergency (?)

So are you going to go on and on and on with this because of your sickness?

"Coax can also carry a wider bandwidth too; optical is usually restricted to 96kHz whereas coaxial can support digital audio data up to 192kHz. This is worth keeping in mind if you intend to stream Hi-Res digital music."

Not AI generated. Information from people in the cable business for over 35 years. While you are sitting there wasting time posting all this information that NOBODY IS DENYING you need to stop denying the information I am posting because it is correct. Get off your high horse thinking only your research and answers are correct. Stop changing words and running with your assumptions. Stop being an *******.

The post is from your post made by you on Boomboxery on July 17th 2023. Post #1. Stop acting like you are clueless. It's your shit.

Hospitals got paid for treating people with COVID. If you are guaranteed payment and all you have to do is check a box and nobody is going to question you. Yeah they were checking those boxes. It wasn't about anything more than getting paid.
