Current events discussion

Another bad attempt at spin and backpedaling. And out comes the word "****" again. Response of a triggered kid.
You're beaten. You're triggered. Now you will unleash the bullshit because of your ego!
Medical science shows you are wrong. Again.

Thanks for beating a dead horse and still proving me right.
Outputs has been the discussion. An output in an audio amp is an independent channel. A connection is not an output, but an output can have a connection.
My word!!! We must be at the nexus of the known universe!!! A connection is not an output but an output can have a connection!! Oh my word!!!! What sorcery!!!
People pay the nominal price. The real price accounts for inflation and other factors.
I don't care what you call it to numb yourself to REAL inflation at the hands of democrats. I pay the real, actual price with real actual monies.
Hmmm, WHO brought up my shop? That was you. Idiot.
Please don't ever stand up because everything that goes over your damn head would kill you.
Oh? Firmware upgrade? AudioControl thinks it's 24bit.
4+ billion steps is a LOT for car audio
Good for them.
So you claim. Michael is someone who purportedly bought a 3 year old FIIO M11S for more than MSRP.
I guess so.
Optical can handle 192kHz or better.
Ignore ALL the context Rob. WHEN can it handle 192kHz or better. I ******* read it too. Give all the information you jack ***. Not just what you think with make you look smart.
Coax can handle 192kHz or better.
No shit.
Avoid using AI if you are trying to prove me wrong about something. It's not steering you in good directions.
Right, it's always AI.
Yes. Overpaid. The unit was introduced in 2022 at an MSRP of $499. So you paid well over retail to make yourself happy?
Would you have been less happy paying the discounted-for-age price? If so, I have an old Lanzar amp that I will gladly sell you for $500. It's worth about $50, but that extra $450 spent will make it sound SWEET.
Bidenflation.

Looks like I paid the right amount.

Inflation.jpg

Granny's house was bought by one of her grandkids after she died. He flipped for a mil to a developer as a teardown, and it now has an 8,000 sq foot house on the lot. Happening to every house in the old neighborhood. It's for sale at $3mil if you are in the market.
If I had the spare $750K 18 years ago, I might have flipped it myself. Takes money to make money.
Does the shit you walk through feel good between your toes? You couldn't pay me to live in that shitty state.

Every few months I read a few pages of this thread and always see the same 2 polarized members debating minutiae while others chip shot a legitimate story in. Lets debate anything except Trump I'd say, he has his hands full and is trying to dig our "Republic" out of the hole "Democracy" put it in.

A republic is ordered and is governed by a set of laws equally applied, a democracy is mob rule when you reduce it to its purest form.

JMO and FU if you think a reply is needed... lmao.

Its an opinion... take a hard look in the mirror if you feel like I'm attacking you

So we can all agree that Thx probably paid fair market at the time for that Fiio player
At the time they offered re-manufactured, used and new. I wanted a virgin. Comparing this player to MANY other players such as Astell & Kern, Onkyo and Sony I found this one to have most of the features I wanted at the best price. Being able to expand my storage via microSD was a must and a deal breaker if it did not have it.

Rob is hung up on believing something is no good unless it is made right now. The player I have may have been made in 2022 or whatever but it is still supported, does all that I want and more and it makes me smile. Sounds angelic with my IEM's.

For my PLANdemic believers, I've been talking to healthcare providers in conservative states, they were SUPRESSING covid deaths. Just saying....
As long as we stopped counting, the number of infections would be lower.
Right?

"If we stop testing right now, we'd have very few cases, if any," Trump asserted. -June 15, 2020.

He is? When did Rob ever suggest that something is no good unless it is made right now?

I'm pretty sure Rob stated that his older Pioneer could play a ton of file types, including FLAC.
In fact, its series was the the first in the industry that could play FLAC at 192/24.

I am curious, did the world stop turning? I ask because with the exception of FOX news the only news that the liberal media wants to report on constantly is Trump. Especially CNN and MSNBC... it's the only topic they have. It's quite pathetic. They are making billions off Trump. I think they need to issue him a thank you letter.

You think the text that says there are nerves in compact bone proves you right when you believe there are no nerves in comnpact bone? Damn, you are a strange creature.
"The Haversian canal (osteonic canal) contains the bone’s blood vessels and nerve fibers (Figure 1)."

If you can remember it, then you have learned something.

Way to show us you don't understand economics.

Please don't ever stand up because everything that goes over your damn head would kill you.
Let me know if you ever find something you think I can't comprehend.
Then we'll discuss your inability to comprehend nominal prices versus real prices.
Good for them.
But I'm sure you know better than the manufacturer...
I guess so.

Ignore ALL the context Rob. WHEN can it handle 192kHz or better. I ******* read it too. Give all the information you jack ***. Not just what you think with make you look smart.
When? When you feed it 192kHz or better, and have a source and receiver that can handle it.
A WiiM, and most DACs, for example.
No shit.

Right, it's always AI.
Almost to the word. "Typical optical cables can handle 96kHz"
AI Overview
"The maximum data rate of a TOSLINK connection for digital audio is typically 24-bit/96kHz"
Bidenflation.
Trumpcession followed by Trumpflation.
Looks like I paid the right amount.

Thanks for again showing us you don't understand economics, finances, math.
Does the shit you walk through feel good between your toes? You couldn't pay me to live in that shitty state.
You'd HAVE to be paid. You couldn't afford to live there if you tried.
17% more expensive than the national average, whereas Kentucky is 11% lower, NC is pretty much average.

Like it says in the literature and like I have told you and you still ignore it. The nerves are not in the bone they are in the Haversian canals. Just stop man, we have done this too many times. You don't want to learn because Orange Man Bad has fucked your ego.
If you can remember it, then you have learned something.

What is hard to understand. Product cost money. Spend money, buy product. Company make more product. Person make more money. Wash, rinse and repeat.
Let me know if you ever find something you think I can't comprehend.
Then we'll discuss your inability to comprehend nominal prices versus real prices.
Can you comprehend this... I don't care what terms you use when discussing prices. Not one bit.
But I'm sure you know better than the manufacturer...
You are the self-righteous one here. I made the corrections to my post.
When? When you feed it 192kHz or better, and have a source and receiver that can handle it.
A WiiM, and most DACs, for example.
As well as a high quality cable. The point is you have to do extra to "feed it" 192kHz or better. Not so with Digital Coaxial.
Almost to the word. "Typical optical cables can handle 96kHz"
AI Overview
"The maximum data rate of a TOSLINK connection for digital audio is typically 24-bit/96kHz"
AI isn't the only thing that states that information. So I guess they are ALL wrong because you say so.
Trumpcession followed by Trumpflation.
LOL right.
Thanks for again showing us you don't understand economics, finances, math.
Stop repeating yourself.
You'd HAVE to be paid. You couldn't afford to live there if you tried.
17% more expensive than the national average, whereas Kentucky is 11% lower, NC is pretty much average.
Spending more makes you special? No, it makes you a sucker. Spend 17% more and from Nov to March you may not even be able to travel because of snow.

"Researchers in Italy have developed a way to create a biometric identifier for people based on the way the human body interferes with Wi-Fi signal propagation."

That's a nightmare... nowhere to hide
