I feel the same. If we weren't so deep in debt it would be a less important issue (illegally "immigration" would still need to be addressed). Past the money problems with illegals...if the push to include them in the census actually happens, then we get more "representatives" in government...and the absolute last thing we need as a country is an even bigger government "wisely" bending us over on taxes to spend on bs they can later campaign on...
My understanding of including them in the census isn't to increase representation. It's to alter how many reps each state gets but the total # of reps (nationally) remains the same. It's basically a way to take congressional representation from red states and move it Blue States.

Agreed. When it comes to these violent protesters the Fed dropped the hammer on them, only to be reversed and the states generally went easy on BLM rioters. Although, in this case, it looks like more than a protest that got out of hand.
IMHO, Trump/GOP needs to migrate away from tariffs. We need to protect US technology, protect our supply chain and bring jobs back to the US. We can simply restrict the outflow of technology, which will also bring jobs back to the US. Then "they" simply need to require companies doing $x of sales in the US to produce $× of the product/products in the US. Tariffs are too messy & indiscriminate to accomplish what we really need to accomplish.
