Current events discussion

If I provide a link to information once, I don't provide it over and over again if I use the same quotes again.
Given the terrible memory of some people on the board, maybe I should re-post every single source, every single time.
Then again, the response I usually get is that the facts are "fake" (or some variation thereof), showing that the person never looked at the source anyway.

This post suggests you never looked at the source, either.
Did you?
Or did you reads it and forget?

The gloves were a higher-end cashmere-lined leather driving glove known as the Aris Light. Rubin testified they are 30% lighter than regular driving gloves.
He identified them with 100% certainty from a picture of OJ wearing the same model glove while sportscasting.
The same model that sold a grand total of 200-240 pair across all Bloomingdales stores that year.
Nicole bought a pair on December 18, 1990.

These are not mechanics gloves. These are not roping gloves. These are not asphalting gloves. These are not dirt biking gloves. These are not skiing gloves. These are not snowboarding gloves. These are not snow shoveling gloves.
They are a men's "dress" glove.
The leather is supple due to oils used in processing. What happens if the glove gets wet?
MR. RUBIN: What happens when gloves get wet, the water or whatever it is that actually wets the glove absorbs small amounts of the fat liquor which creates shrinkage.

Rubin very clearly stated they were not shrink-proof:
MR. COCHRAN: All right. And those gloves, when they were made between the period we talked about, 1982 to 1992, were they in some way shrink-proof?
MR. RUBIN: No.
MR. COCHRAN: Did they have some kind of treatment to keep them from shrinking?
MR. RUBIN: No.
MR. COCHRAN: The manufacturer? Not at all?
MR. RUBIN: Not at all.

Would you expect a (?)$150 pair of lightweight, fine leather driving gloves to be the same as a pair of all-weather motorcycling glove, especially when the guy who "responsible for the design, manufacturing, production, raw material, sales and marketing of all men's gloves." testified they were NOT made to be shrink-proof, and testified that the gloves presented in the hearing had shrunk by as much as 15%?

Since Rubin obviously knows little about leather, or leather gloves, can you provide YOUR explanation of why the glove that shrank from an XL to an L, and had a cashmere lining "dislodged" may not have easily slid on to OJ's latex-gloved hand?

Watch the video of him trying the glove on. Look closely at the position of his thumb.

Now, go put on a pair of loose surgical gloves, then try to squeeze your hand in a cashmere-lined driving glove that is one size smaller than you wear, while keeping your thumb "flat" instead of tucked like you normally would to put on ANY glove. Genuinely try it out.
Hell, do exactly that with your USUAL cashmere (or any lining)-lined gloves. Can you do it? Probably, with some effort.
But, be 100% honest and tell me you couldn't make it look like it's impossible.

"If your cotton Metallica tee shirt that shrank a full size from washing and drying on hot no longer fits, you must acquit".

So now you're upset that we're NOT talking about Trump? Usually you complain we ARE talking about Trump.
Try to keep your narrative straight.

Do you just assume that because you upset people daily that you upset me? Um, no, I am not upset. The fact that you are a libertard does not upset me either. You are the one who has to live with himself.

So when he and Musk were butt-buddies, Musk was getting away with ripping off the country, but now that they are having a lover's quarrel, the contracts must go?
Funny how that works.

“If DOGE looks at Musk it could save a fortune… I don’t think he should be playing that game with me,” Trump said. His remark referred to the Department of Government Efficiency, the federal agency Musk previously led before stepping down earlier this year. The implication was clear: Trump is prepared to turn the very regulatory agency once shaped around Musk’s tech-driven cost-cutting philosophy directly against him, if Musk continues to publicly oppose the bill.

This was not the first time Trump issued such a threat. In a Truth Social post the night before, Trump said, “Perhaps we should have DOGE take a good, hard look at this? BIG MONEY TO BE SAVED!!!” while accusing Musk of relying on government subsidies to keep his companies afloat."

If you're not upset then stop complaining.

And if you want to say you are just reporting on the events here, there is no need to. Don't assume that because 'you can't read and comprehend, that everyone else has the same problem.

No one (except you, maybe) needs a play-by-play, or post-game wrap up for what is said here.

"Libertard". Interesting. Tell us how a W2 and a line listing for job position go "hand and hand" (your phrasing, not mine).

Just because people complain daily about speaking to you does not mean I am complaining. If you don't know the difference between a normal statement and a complaint maybe you don't speak on them like you do know.

Rob's whole self-worth is wrapped up in an image of him pissing off everyone he's "righter" than 🤣🤣🤣

Looking at that last pic his hand never fit in that glove even before it allegedly shrank. So OJs gloves fit so tight he had to tuck his thumb just so to get his hands in them? And the gloves shrank 15% when exposed to just 3ml of moisture, but they weren't designed to be disposable, high end "dress gloves" aren't treated to resist moisture, etc, etc, etc. Yet these super tight gloves sliped off during the attack. No wonder the jury was so quick to acquit.
