Current draw- Tones vs. music?

legal, thus the lower scores.. I was humbled the first time I was ever metered in this fashion, wasnt at a comp, but nonetheless was a few db less then I was hoping for.

its not legal it is at headrest and you can open windows and doors but you must use music not a tone and vehicle must be off

meca? I know vehicle must be off, and I know about windows...no tones tho? I have seen people use tones all the time..perhaps that was in street tho

The Chemical Brother's "It Doesn't Matter" song is basically constant tone. Crank it up and I bet you'll have a headache by the end of it.

try using cheaper ANL fuses like XXX , or Audiopipe , etc. heat is the key, some fuses will handle the heat better in turn giving you a longer burp, typically cheaper fuses aren't rated as close as some others , and rolling the volume is preferred, Alpine used to have decks that rolled in off pause that worked very well, and in AS1 it is music not tones, and I would focus more on the enclosure , i would try finding your cars peak and tuning closer to it, most vehicles peak is not in the 30's

Trailblazers peak at 38hz. It's a bitch for burp numbers but is great for daily ground pound.

During testing today, I blew a Stinger 40a about 15 seconds into bass note. 15 seconds is more then enough, although the gain was set lower then I normally have it. Gonna up my settings slightly and see if I can still get a solid burp on these stinger fuses
