true but I'm also running the amp at only 2 ohms for now. But within the next week I'll be runnin it at 1 ohm and I think I would blow the fuses tryin to run the amp at 1 ohm

I would recommend going ANL if you do upgrade. I'm running my 1606D @ 0.5 before box-rise (160A amp fusing) off an inline 60A AGU fuse with no problems.
