I have two 12" Audiobahn AW1251T subwoofers rated @400w RMS each (800w RMS together), wondering what sort of sub amp I would need to get to adequately power the subs. . I realize I need either a mono or two-channel amp, but as far as bridging the two woofers to a mono amp, what would I be looking at? And if I spring for a two-channel, would I just need to match the RMS wattage of the amplifier to the RMS wattage of the woofers combined?
I am also looking at this Soundstream TA4.720 amplifier for my speakers, but would love other recommendations.
I have nothing installed just yet, but here are the components I have ready to be installed right now:
2x Kenwood KFC-6994PS 6"x9" speakers for rear
2x Kenwood KFC-1694PS 6.5" speakers for front doors
1x Kenwood KDC-258U head unit
2x Audiobahn 12" subwoofers (been boxed for years, not sure model # but I know they are 400w RMS each)
