Cupholders

Im building a center for my single cab Ram and wanted to know how I should go about doing my cup holders. I thought just taking a cup and making the inside of the holder mold form that and the rest like a fiber glass box. Would that work? If so how would I finsh the inside of it? If that wont work, what should I do?

Thanks

Jason

just cut a solid circle out of wood the size of a normal size of a cup, and then cut a ring that has a inner diamater hole a little bigger than the circle you cut out, and whatever outer diamater suits your fancy, then stretch material over the first ring, and use the second ring to push it downinto the hole or somthin.

then fill the piece of wood in the hole around the edge with bodyfiller to fill the crack, sand, and paint //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

there are prolly easier ways though, maybe just buy a removeable center console from advanced autoparts and glass that in place?

just take a cupholder from some car at a junkyard, cut to fit, and glass it into the center thing you're making. probably gonna need some abs to resin adhesive.
