That is 3/4 thick with carpet

Well, you need a 3rd dimension.

those two would be internal dimensions of 11.25 x 11.25 ... whats the third dimension ?

Volume = Height x Width x Length

Length x width x height minus wood thickness divided by 1728 = how many cubes you have internally.

That should be correct.

But, I think it's better that the original poster learns to do this himself.

10.5 ^3 = 1157 / 1728 .669 cubic feet.

I always ****ing forget to double the outside walls.

true so heres what i did:

12x12x12 is your outside dimensions

because you have 3/4" wood, you need to acount for that, so subtract 1.5" from each side and thats the internals

now multiply those and divide by 1728, how many cubic inches are in a cubic foot.

that gets u your volume

11.25 ^ 3 = 1423 / 1728 = .8239 before woofer displacement.
