Has anyone ever had a problem with the bass knob?

I have a new CT Sounds 1400 that cuts off for no reason. The amp still lights up but no output and the digital bass know is not working. I can disconnect the main power and reconnect and this seems to reset the amp.

I cannot find any pattern as to why it cut off. This last time it was working when the truck was turned off, and the next time it was started, no output.

Sometimes it just cuts off in the middle of a song, even at low volume.The only thing common is that the bass knob does not work ever time this happens.

I did check all the main power and ground wires, but all seem to be tight.

Is it going into protect when it cuts off or does the music just stop playing?

Check the switch that changes the amp from knob control to head unit control and make sure it's in the correct position and secure. Also unplug both ends of the bass knob cord and plug them back in.

If that doesn't solve the issue, stop by the shop and I'll see if I can fix it or I'll get either the amp or the bass knob warrantied for you.

My good friends bass knob tweaked. it would shut the amp off and flash. randomly turn on and off randomly. there was no fix to the problem, my friend was upset cause i told him to buy AT. was pretty cool though cause we emailed coleman for a new bass knob and he sent us a new amp.
