I ran a CT Sounds 900.1 and also ran a Precision Power BK 1300.1 long before I even knew about CT
The 900.1 seemed more efficient (less voltage drop) and also was louder to ear.
Played full tilt for a 45min drive and it was cool to the touch. Did the same when I had my 1300.1 and it was a bit warmer
If you can get over the price tag, then I would go with the 900.1. The voltage meter and clipping indicator on the knob are also a plus

puts out around 1200 at 14.4v
and I ran both amps on 4 gauge CCA and never really had a problem. The 4 gauge ofc will be fine but I suggest running 0 gauge and using 4 gauge reducers so when you get that sudden urge to upgrade, it's one less step that you have to worry about
