CSS 15" SDX vs. 15" MAG

I tried searching all over the net but couldn't really find much on it. I hear it's similar to a tc-2000 but that doesn't tell me much because I've never heard a tc sound's sub. Was wondering how it would compare to a Mag or Brahma II in sq and loudness. Box would be 3.5 tuned to 28 hz.

Completely worthless imput, but I'll do it anyways.

Just buy the mag. You wont be disappointed.

first off, not many people have heard the mag and css sdx 15. The sdx 15 uses xbl^2 so it should be a more linear driver and it also has a higher xmax. I would assume the css is cleaner but can't say for sure, as for getting louder i would lean to the Mag. If the css is comparible to the tc 2000 and i've heard guys taking the Mag over the tc 3000, sounds like the Mag might be a better driver. Now the new Mag(uses xbl^2) vs the css would actually be a better comparison when the new Mag comes out. The css sells for a **** good price for what it is too. I'm actually thinking about picking up a css sdx 15 for ht use though, i live in canada so i can get a great price on one.l

*IF* you are looking for a good sounding driver for average daily use and volume(s), both will satisfy your needs. I have yet to see/hear anyone, let alone myself, say that they can accurately pick out an XBL2 driver in a blind A/B listening test however.

*IF* you are looking to push the volume more than average (e.g. 'get loud') lean more towards getting the Mag. It has been designed to operate better and more efficiently in that kind of environment.

Alright thanks. I'll see what imma do. I have a blown brahma at home so it's taking space. Maybe I'll get it for a backup sub.
