I listen the crystal in person and i like it very much, but never on the cdt. I just bought cdt ef61-fg with tw-25, so will see how is this sound.

i saw your sig u almost got the same front comp except u got the cf and i got the fg ones. hows the tweeter sound, and how many rms did u put per side?

Why does it ****? Is it too laid back? lack of detail in the upper range? Did you you hear it in a proper setup? Proper alignment? What kind of processing was or wasn't used? Don't just say something sucks without qualifing it.

I'd go with the Crystals. Reviews on the lower-level CDTs seem to be a little on the fence, but I've yet to hear anything bad about the Crystals.

I owned the CL 62 and was disappointed. Flogged them after 4 months. I compared them side by side with Aura MR 62s and found the CDTs really lacked in many areas. I'd say go with a higher CDT line or another brand.

I've read mainly good things about Crystal and mixed reviews on CDT. One thing I will say is, some people are happy with CDTs mid bass and others think it sucks.....do more research then you'll be happy with your purchase.

my cdt's tweets from hd line are awesome, great detail crisp not to laid back.

The CDT tweets were really boring and not very detailed.

Crystals are said to be better than CDT which I think they are, but I love my CL-61a's and they make me happy for $100.

if you want cdt, just buy some vifa speakers off madisound.... imo the little paint job, redesign, and coating isn't worth their huge a$$ markup.... you can get a pair of the highest line cdt woofer for $140 bucks..

However, you will need to either design some passive xovers or run them active...
