i have the latest car audio mag, its one of the 40 comps listed but no review, the genesis looks cool

all the reviews I read were positive,it will take 350-400 bucks to match the SQ they produce

According to car audio mag directory annual issue. They list the speaker mounting depth at 3.5". Is this true and if it is, then this speaker has got to be the most difficult one to install without a big fat baffle.

sorry to be such a noob, but is a baffle like a cut out / ouround that goes behind a speaker to give it more depth. sorta like the front of a sub box? that attaches to thedoor. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif :crap:

on crystal's website they are only 3.1 inch in mounting depth

I run their components found in my signature and I hate how my right one blew b/c the original mids that came with it sounded great. The CDTs dont sound to0 bad either tho. Then again that's opinion.

I actually just blew my right mid again and am planning on purchasing these.
