Just wanted to let everyone know that I am selling my Crystal CMPx2 15" Subwoofer. It is a dual 2 ohm driver. Price is 285 + Shipping costs (I am estimating like $30-40 bucks because this thing is heavy). I will accept paypal and money orders. what is the power handling on this thing?

I'll put it to you this way, I run it with 2600 watts when I am using it. The **** cone doesn't even get hot like most woofers. This is one hell of a woofer. Power Handling is listed as 1600 watts RMS.

Dude, I hate to say this, but if bdubedub sends me $250 + shipping in paypal then I am going to wrap this thing up and put a bow on it for him. HAHAHA!!

BTW, you don't necessarily need something that's doing over 2000 watts. At one time, I had a Hifonics Brutus 1500 D on it and it wanged just as hard as it does now. The only reason I am running the Power Acoustik A3000Db is because I sold the Brutus for virtually what I paid for it and I was able to pick up the A3000Db for $300 bucks and get an additional 1000 watts.

I'm not sure I understand your question? Do you need a design? If so, you probably want to post something in the box construction section to get some assistance. I have a box, but unless you can pick this thing up I will not ship it because it weighs 105 lbs and with the woofer it weighs just over 160 lbs.

The recommendations on the CMPx2 15" sub for a ported box is 3 cubes and for sealed it is 2 cubes. I will go ahead and tell you though, that my box is ported at 4 cubes net with 60 square inches of port.
