Just wanted to let everyone know that I am selling my Crystal CMPx2 15" Subwoofer. It is a dual 2 ohm driver. Price is 285 + Shipping costs (I am estimating like $30-40 bucks because this thing is heavy). I will accept paypal and money orders. I would say that it is more along the lines of an SQL sub. It gets hella loud, but sounds good doing so. I'll put it to you this way, the CMP 8 beat out most of the beastly 8's in Loyd "Bigbassman" Lowry's Great 8 Challenge. If I'm not mistaken it beat the JL 8 W7. Crystal makes a killer product, they just charge out the *** for it.

Crystal is a very good name, and the CMP is a great sub, the CMPx2 is even better, nothing to fear, the sub is killer

That's exactly what I was going to compare it to. I'm very confident in saying that the SX would not touch the Crystal in SPL and SQ.

There was a review on Mobile Entertainment with the CMPx2 against the Eclipse, Kove, and one other SPL sub. The Crystal beat the crap out of it. It said the Crystal was playing notes none of the others could play. The link is dead now though.

I have a CMP 12 inch, this is the little brother to the CMPx2. I always wanted to upgrade to the CMPx2, but then realized that I have my bass set almost to ZERO, I'm poor and can't waste the money. The CMP's sound quality is the same as my IDQ 12, but much much louder exp. the low notes.
