Crystal cmp info

waiting for 2 cmp 12's to arrive. I have a 1000 watt rms US AMP. Going to put these in 1.4 sealed each. Will this have the sql everyone claims the cmp has? Will this hit possible sub 30hz notes? I want it to soud real good,loud, and hit **** low. Any input on these cmp's would be appreciated.

They were top of the line like 5 years ago. I do not remember their specs off the top of my head, but they were nice for their day. I wouldn't expect them to keep up with the new 'supersubs', but I was always pleased with their output and SQ. Good solid sub.

edit: they are an underhung design if you want to do some research on how that will affect performance

these are new, i guess they are called crystal COMP instead of cmp, 12 spoke frame instead of 4 spoke,otherwise similar. What does the underhung design do?

they are very nice SQ woofers,

 

if they were less $$$ I would have a pair myself
