CRX wall, enough cubes for a Solo x 18"?

correcting grammar on the internet is not cool btw. and, why wall a CRX when its LOUDER not to.
I'm not all that worried about being "e-cool". I do however find it ammusing that a person who seems unable to pass a sixth grade english class is calling anyone retarded. Unless you are simply a petty little boy with no self-esteem who makes himself feel better by insulting others, I see no reason for you to start berating people just because you disagree with them. As for the seecond half of your post, I don't think he asked what was louder. I believe he asked how much space he could get from walling off a CRX. Since he stated that he and his nephew bought the car for the sole purpose of competing , I naturally assumed that he planned on removing the rear seats. As such, the figures I posted and the evidence to which I referred were for walls that did not encounter the limitation of a rear seat.

First of all an 18 in a rex is overkill. A good box design and 2 10s can get you well into the 50s. If you wall a CRX, you should be shot and killed.
pwnage.

explore the makers before you commit to a solox 18. not to down them, they are a strong woofer. but overall i was disappointed with my solox12. if thats what you want by all means go for it, but there are better subs out there with both better spl and sq that you could get for equivelent or less $$ than a solox. personally i just think kicker is a bit overrated. but thats me.

What do you recomend?

Fi (Q's, BTL's), RE(MT's, MX's), DD(9545 i think it is? not sure on their top of the line woofer)..the list goes on and on. my knowledge of woofers is very limited..but those are my top 3.

everyone kick in some other brands for the man

Get 4 Fi BTL 15s, and then wall it. I would think the enclosure would be a bit more proportional then.
Have you ever been in a CRX? There is no way you can fit 4 15s into a wall in one. Unless I'm smoking crack, there is no way it's possible. Also, there are no rear seats in a CRX.

Using big words makes you less cool on the internet, so you just lost a notch //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif. Now, if you knew much about CRX's you would have helped him by saying "no point in walling, you will be louder with a properly built CRX style box" but you didn't, therefore, not helping him at all really in the long run. Why let someone build a wall when you know they can easily get louder by not walling. So technically speaking, I answered his question, and then some. You won't get loud if you wall with whatever room given, compared to others, so don't wall. CRX style boxes are called that for a reason. They are what gets loudest in a CRX
