It's hard for me to explain because it's been a while since I've had to explain it. Basically though companies round whenever they advertise hard drive space. For instance there isn't actually 1000KB it's actually 1024 KB. Just know that because a Hard drive is advertised at said capacity you don't get ALL of it, it's rounded.
