That is correct.

Here is the one I have been pondering on the most.

If you think prices are going to be higher in the future, what are you more likely to do:

-Increase personal savings

-Buy stuff now

-borrow money to buy things

Most people aren't economists and don't want to be economists....so tell me what YOU would do.

Increase savings and possibly borrow money. But thats a slim chance.

Well, in that case, I think it would probably go along the lines of spending money from saving with spending on credit as a VERY close second. Very few people will save or invest.
