Actually the TTL on the zone files is set to update weekly so I need to drop it to 90 minutes or something for a week then do this again and it should work.
I think if I leave it as is now there are going to be a bunch of root servers out there that have the old IP and it is going to cause random issues for certain people, esp those with small ISPs that do not do DNS table updates often.

Most major isp should have it in the system relatively quickly. Problem with using the IP as SM pointed out is that we have to agree to viewing everytime we load a page because it is secured and some non secured content is on the page.
