But if you don't have the internet, how do you get the aps? I don't think there is wireless here at work. I wouldn't use it at home.....

I think I am going to opt for the nano....but thanks for the info about not trying to do this with a portable HD. The feature I wanted most is "random" songs, and if that is MUCH easier achieved with the iPod, I have no problem going down that road.

We have these Apple computers in my finance class because it is the only classroom with computers in the classroom for each student. They are the biggest POS I have ever seen. I can't figure out how to do anything.

If you were just going to do random then a USB would work. My problem was that searching for a song plugged into the USB was just impossible. Searching for specific songs is much easier with the ipod.

If ATT didn't **** balls I would just get an iphone and have everything in one. Another problem you will probably run into is, the iphone and touch were changed and do not charge on 12 volt sources, so you'll need an adapter to charge it if you have an older car interface.

You mean an older HU?

The HU will be something 2009...will that charge? I cannot plug into the USB at work, but I can at home.

Things like the iphone seem useless to me. I don't spend that much time on the phone or with gadgets.
