Speaking of which, I'll be in Nawleens in May. The hell is there to do in Nawleens around May time?

So far I've only been told to check out the French quarters and don't go outside at night.

Jazzfest will still be going on the first weekend of May. It is where you listen to bands you have never heard of before. The paranoid smoke dope in pot -o-johns. Those with nothing to lose fire up right in the middle of everyone in broad daylight. You also eat dishes with enough calories to last a week.

Parking is fun. People in the surrounding ghetto let you park in their yards for $20and whatever they can steal out of your ride. Their is no animosity, it's just another NOLA tradition.

I could go to any Jazz festival and I'd be listening to bands I'd never heard of before. I'm in for the food and booze though.

You can (and will) go out at night. I am not saying it's completely safe, but it's not like hanging out in IceT's neighborhhod either.

Just don't fvck with the po-po, and if a barkeep tells you to GTFO then do so swiftly and without comment. I am seriously more concerned about the NOLA PD than I am the criminal element. As wild as that place gets, you don't want to give those corrupt fvckers an excuse.

Dates won't change. I c/p'd that right off of the website for the conference. But if I were you, I'd wait a couple months. Who knows yet if NO will even still be there.

While those are both very interesting topics, neither of them are industry specific so they will do the conference no good. In order to be a speaker you have to be able to show everyone how you do everything right and if they are not doing it your way, they are doing it wrong.
