The filters are for the tv channels, yes.
Internet speed is usually done from a central hub and controlled remotely.

Back when I first moved out, I couldnt even count how many times we were supposed to have our cable shut off and we would grab the guy on his way to our poll and invite him in for some rips or even a little spare cash and it was all good.

our cable was suppost to be turned off like 3 mo ago since my MIL didnt pay the bill. i still have basic cable and i'm stealing wireless from the neighbor

I haven't been on a plan since 2006. So they do the month to month update now.

You can also change phones easily....just pop out the sim card and add the sim card to another phone.

Customer support has been great, I always get an american within 2-3 minutes when I call which was my main issue with Sprint in addition to being dicked around by them.

Indeed. My ex has Sprint. She could call for any reason and they'd try to force her to renew her contract. T-mobile will let you change plans without a new contract.

I have T-Mobile with the family plan for $59 that has 700 shared minutes with my wife plus 5 'my favs' that are unlimited, I only rarely call anyone that is not on my favs so it works great for me.
Blackberry unlimited internet is $20/mo plus I can use it for tethering to my laptop while out on the road. Not sure if you are out on the road a lot but figured I would mention it as it helps me work remotely.

Unlimited text is $20/mo for both of us or as many people as you have on your family plan.

family for 2 phones were 79 with 700 min. $30 internet each but wife doesnt need it. Not sure that I do either. Im on the road alot but I have my laptop. IDK.

plan plus 20 for text no INT is 99 a month. Not 2 shabby for 2 phones. My FAV 5 is just about all I talk to anyway.

My family has an account with 10 phones on it...

I pretty much talk/text/internet all I want... and my grandparents pay for it as a Xmas/Bday present each year (5days apart)

Even with the 10phones, and unlimited text on 5... it's less than $350 I believe which is a deal I think...
