I was in ATL last weekend and rode the MARTA. Too many homeless drunks on there, plus it was freezing outside.

All except for the body I was pleased with Atlanta. It's more new south then old south and I can tolerate that. Atlanta would be my first choice for the south.

Is Hoffman Estates northside? When you say northside, is that city of Chicago or suburbs? I think Chicago works differently then Detroit. The closer you get to the actual city of Detroit, the lower the home value goes down. I currently pay $505 a month for my apartment which includes gas and water. Is that obtainable in Chicago?
