Yeah, I was just screwing with the guy though so it did not matter. I went on to the lot serious about looking at a few cars, but oh nooooo, he didn't want to do that. He just wanted me to buy one without looking.

I didn't feel like fighting with that guy to give him a commission, so I thought I would get some entertainment value for the time I spent driving over there.

Example:

Him: Are you going to be trading your car?

Me: I don't know, what do you think I should do?

Him: I could have my manager take a look at it and give you a price.

Me: Sounds like a plan.

I have no idea, I guess this shit works on some people somehow. Personally, I shut down from buying mode when they become too pushy. I don't have to buy a car. I certainly am not going to be insulted by those jackasses while I hand them money.

I went with my best friend/room mate this past spring when he was looking for a car. These small places all wanted him to finance through them. He straight up told them several times his opinion on the financing and how he wanted to do it. They kept pressuring him and telling him how he should do it. Well, I watched him TEAR THE GUYS apart 2 times. They were speechless once he got done with them. I don't get embarrassed much, but it actually almost embarrassed me. It was fukin hilarious.

so since i moved back to md ive now had three diff jobs

the first i was working for a bunch of stereotypical darkies....showing up to work 30mins to an hr late despite having appointments first thing in the morning so here is my dumbass sitting outside with the customer waiting on the owner of the shop to arrive....eventually the customer would leave and the owner would think they didnt show, this was daily by the way.....finally me and the owner sat down and start talking money and genius decides he only wants to pay me $11/hr at which point i left.

second job i was going to be a lead tech at a shop being opened up in ellicot city. the owner already owns a prominent shop near the university of md so he has plenty of good clientele including a bunch of the wizards and most UMD alum. The whole job hinged upon us getting up to the new shop and setting it up only he never had the time it seemed so i spent a while on my behind. I worked a week at the shop in college park when one of the other guys was on vacation and when i went in to get paid for it last week he informed me that the whole other shop thing would have to indefinately be put on hold since he had just been told he had 2 weeks to vacte the current shop because the landlord felt that his opening a new shop made him untrustworthy despite the fact that he had been there since '89

so i went on a job hunt again and on monday i got a call from best buy....i kinda blew it off not expecting much from it as it is best buy and i doubted they would pay me what i asked for not to mention every year around this time i get a call from them trying to get me to come in a be a seasonal employee but at this point i was willing to take that as i havent had steady work since ive been here the past 3 months....so i go in there and get hired full time as the car audio supervisor and they end up giving me $25/hr so all is well

MidSouth Bank. It is a bank that is in my county. There are 4 locations plus a main office. They are ftw.
They are very very smart people. Instead of investing in ATM locations, they allow members 5 transactions per month from any ATM in the CONUS without charge. They pay the ATM fee and then don't charge the bank fee. A brilliant move if you ask me.

They also allow you to buy stock directly from the bank without transaction costs...and you get real certificates.

Since it needs a video card, I can get video card that has HDMI out, correct? This will allow me to rip DVDs to the HD for playback on the television.
