I'm thinking I may get Vista. My computer is running slow and needs a clean re-boot, but I do not have an OS CD. I think I can get Vista through the college at a discount. If I buy a new OS, can I reuse the key? IIRC I could only use the XP key once.

Retail keys can be re-used. You just call up MS for a new installation ID. They will allot you so many within a certain time frame.

I may try cleaning up my current XP. If my hard drive is full, would that cause it to be slow? I have 60 gigs of music and 30 gigs of video on a 160 gig HDD.
