It takes time & patience to turn a green pool into a clean pool. Today people don't have either one. They shouldn't own a pool then.

pH needs to be balanced before adding chlorine/shock. Otherwise you're wasting time & money.
Also liquid chlorine(bleach) is 100% better than the packs. The packs contain calcium which can boost your hardness amount waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy up there.
