I don't want a huge dog...It just isn't in me.
Greyhounds aren't "too" big of a dog. They have very small frames and are usually very docile.

One of my old neighbors had one that they got through a greyhound rescue program which help people adopt old racing dogs that were given away/ditched by their trainers/owners.

Very nice dog. Not a lot of hair and shit to clean up either.

i'm not usually a big fan of big dogs either, but I love greyhounds.

mainly 9th and 10th. i do have a couple of 7th grade classes which i hate with a passion.
Ah, I was thinking about starting out teaching on the highschool level, but I definantly want to end up teaching at a university. I am going into art education btw, so hopefully I'll be the cool art teacher //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif, or I could be the really creepy one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I do not think I will pay $2,500 for any dog when perfectly good ones are available at the pound for $75.
Yeah, thats pretty much my view on it as well

That's a big ass dog lol.
Is that the same thing as a cane corso? Looks similar, but then agian it could be because they are both mastifs.

Only other dogs I would probably get would be another german shepard, pit bull, or an american bulldog.
American bulldogs are the shit, my brother had one and an american bulldog/pit mix he had a huge head. He got a great deal on them too. Too bad his stupied ****ign wife made him get rid of them.

I thought about the greyhound quite a bit when I was first looking. I am not sure how they would do around a cat though. Greyhounds aren't that big...plus I'd think they'd like the walk/jog.
Just not sure how much it would like being tied up 10 hours a day.
Well both of my neighbors worked normal jobs and I believe they had a cat as well. I believe they do like to have company, so perhaps having another pet might work out for the better. That is, if it gets along with a cat. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif They are kind of like dalmations, they need a playmate.

Like I said, very calm all the time and affectionate. I don't think I ever heard it bark.

Definitely like to walk/jog too. Afterall, that is what they are bred for. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I have always been around Golden Retrievers or Yellow Labs. I love Golden Retrievers, very loyal and fun loving dogs. I would highly recommend one. They are somewhat big but not really. I've owned a male and a female.
They had a litter of 5 female lab/retriever mixes at the pound we went to yesterday, and my gf fell in love with them. I just wished I could have gotten one.

stop messing with flips head. we agreed on getting a mutt from the pound earlier. no need for any extra confusion.
I'm a big fan of mutts as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I hate to see dogs sitting in pounds for years. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

They don't even last for days around here unless they are puppies.
I am going to look after work. They close at six so I may check them out. Teh gf said I need an apt but nothing on the website says anything about an apt.
I've never made an apt. with the pound here, I've always just showed up and went to the back to look at the animals
