See, I heard all about it. I absolutely love/hate being around Tom because of shit just like that. Hell, he is worse than I ever thought about being about not letting things go.

I am still in confusion about a pet. I am not wanting a cat really, but I may settle for one.
I kinda liked this rat they had at the pet store; however, teh gf has a cat and the cat will probably eat it.

Still ISO a pet. My mom thinks I should get a basset hound. Perhaps I can get a small dog and take it over my mom's house during the day and take it home in the evening. They have a fence.

I really don't want to tie it up or build a fence. The neighbor has a rot and a wolf dog...if they got loose, it would be all over for my pup. I want something to run/walk with me. I am not sure a basset hound will do much walking.

I have never seen a rat on a leash.

That is what I am reading. It seems like a basset hound is good about being left alone, but they are stupid looking dogs.

Bassetts are cool dogs, but have a tendency to have bad hips.

The sites I have looked at says this is because of obesity.

Oh really, I just had always assumed that the lebgth of their body made the effects of any defect in the hip more pronounced. Obesity is easy to prevent in a dog.

It sounds like you are set then.

Bishon's arent large dogs at all. Just really annoying

Shih Tzu's are pretty good dogs imo and so are spaniels.

im going to suggest going to the pound and just picking out a mutt you like. they tend to be smarter than their retarded inbred cousins anyway.

I came close to picking up a dog at the pund yesterday, but I'd have no where to keep it next year.

That is what I want to do. My gf is the one who thinks I should get a breed of some sort.
The first dog I had was some stray that got hit by a car. It was a pretty good dog. It stayed in the yard until I put it on a leash...then it ran away chasing a deer.

The problem is the dog needs to get acquainted with teh gf's cat. So it needs to be a puppy. I dunno if the pound has a dog that young?

They will I'm sure.

Pound I went to yesterday had probably 20 puppies or so.
